| Ovarian cancer too often goes undetected until its later stages. The risk factors, and why odd cramps deserve attention. |
| Estimated reading time: 1 minute(s) (78 words) |
The risk factors for this form of cancer include:
- Not having children (this may be due, partially, to the fact that these
women have had no interruption of the ovulation cycle and thus have had more
of these than women who have given birth)
- Miscarriages
- Multiple abortions
- High fat diets
- Use of some oral contraceptives & IUDs
In too many cases ovarian cancer goes undetected until it is in its later
stages. Symptoms include abdominal pains or abnormal cramps.
